DinghyGo Orca 375 flagged as the perfect sized all-round portable sailboat
Boating enthusiasts are favoring the lengthier three-in-one DinghyGo inflatable sailboats with a large sail such as the DinghyGo Orca 375
Düsseldorf 2021 January 26th. After last week cancellation of Boot 2021 Düsseldorf, Dutch producer Aquacrafts of the leading portable sailboat brand DinghyGo today confirmed that the trend of its users favoring the taller versions of their inflatable sailboats, such as the DinghyGo Orca 375, has been holding steadfast throughout 2020. Aquacrafts further announced that the entire range of its successful DinghyGo Orca three-in-one (sailing, motoring, rowing) inflatable boats now sport their optimum sail size and that its unique ability for reefs, rarely seen with other brands of inflatable sailing boats, is now a standard feature.
With reefing the skipper can determine the appropriate sail size and height of the boom for a sportier or a more relaxed sailing experience. Reefing as a standard feature has been greeted with enthusiasm by boating enthusiast as it allows for tweaking of the perfect sail size depending on wind conditions or to simply enable more head space for the crew.
Furthermore Aquacrafts announced it has extended the sail size for the DinghyGo Orca 280 to 4,8 m2 and has added of a Jib sail (1.1 m2) to the Orca range, enabling other crew member to actively participate in the sailing experience. Other boats in the Orca range, such as the DinghyGo Orca 325 offers a sail size of 5,6 m2 while the Orca 375 carries a combined sail size of 5,9 m2, made up of its main sail (4,8 m2) and the sporty Jib (1,1 m2). The taller DinghyGo Orca 375 allows up to 6 adults when using an engine and boards up to 3 adults when under sail, providing fun sailing at 4 knots Beaufort.
The DinghyGo range of all-round portable sailboats has proven to provide a stable and safe sailing experience. Over the years boating enthusiast have especially been praising the DinghyGo Orca’s rigidity, extended boat length and sail size allowing for a sportive sailing experience in all weather conditions - while maintaining all the unique DinghyGo portability characteristics.
Michiel Troelstra, Head of DinghyGo Global Sales adds, “Our customers are clearly indicating their preference for our taller range of Inflatables. Since we introduced the DinghyGo Orca range we have seen a growing majority of boating enthusiasts opt for the larger DinghyGo Orca 375. For those looking for a slightly smaller boat, for instance because packing size is an issue, the DinghyGo Orca 280 and DinghyGo Orca 325 offer excellent alternatives. In the end all the boats in the Orca range provide the same compact carry-along package, a reliable and stable boat to carry the entire family and are equally easy to rig and sail for one person.
Aquacrafts will once again be present with the DinghyGo Orca range on display at the World’s largest Boat Show, Boot Düsseldorf from 22nd to 30th January 2022.
